Genealogy Research Centre: The Centre holds a comprehensive range of material suitable for family history research with a focus on New Zealand and British information. This includes microfiche, microfilm, books, magazines and a growing range of CD ROMs

Local Heritage Resource Centre: The Local Heritage Resource Centre combines collections from Porirua Library and Pataka Porirua Museum. It includes local newspapers dating from 1949 onwards, photographs, maps, oral histories, subject files and cemetery records.
