ORANGE
Porirua City is at the orange setting of the Covid-19 traffic lights protection framework. This means some changes to the way we work and live, as protections are in place to help minimise the spread of Covid-19 in the community. Find out more
For up to date information about alert levels, community cases, and getting tested visit covid19.govt.nz and health.govt.nz.
Bring your class to the library for a story, to grab some books, as part of an Education Outside the Classroom programme or to add depth to an inquiry. Our fabulous librarians can pick some popular books to read to your tamariki, or if you let them know in advance, they can help with a topic your class is exploring.
Please email or phone us well in advance to check availability, so we can cater to your learning objectives, and help your students make the most of your visit. You can book one-off visits, or a regular slot.

We are a library without walls, and outreach is one of our specialties. Our librarians are keen to visit your school to talk about books and the library, read to your students, help mark literary celebrations, and inspire your staff.
